What are the lines that divide art and life, fiction and fact or people from around here and from elsewhere? Magdalena Chowaniec, the Polish creator of dances and performances, has already vigorously shaken up old and new taboos, made unequivocal political statements and, most recently, worked with Afghan refugees. Now she bores even deeper – straight into the artist’s brain. In her latest piece she examines what it can come up with when a fighter in search of a new, revolutionary humanism gets ready to save the day. This is what she attempts to do together with musician Markus Steinkellner in this world première. What to expect? Lots of humour, great music to go with it, protest, rule-breaking and massive surprises. This is theatre as a social space.
